To be the change catalyst that provides radical solutions, accelerating inclusive economic growth and development, facilitating the creation of sustainable jobs and producing more impactful policies and practices through multi-sector and multi-stakeholder dialogue.

Core focus areas of the mandate – Through Projects we:

  • Create capable rural Districts in KZN Province serving its people
  • Promote new ideas and innovative solutions for economic growth and development
  • Ensure that any economic growth filters through to wealth creation for the poor.
  • Ensure educational access for the previously deprived and encourage career advancement
  • Eradication of poverty, creation of sustainable and decent job opportunities and reducing inequality
  • Encourage implementation of impactful policies, strategies, plans and good governance practices

    Education (Including writing matric, literacy and numeracy), Entrepreneurial Training and Skills development for women and girls; Onsite Training Programme: Integrating women into already existing and new agricultural projects in their areas or village

    CEOLS 2035: CEOLS:  Cotton Essential Oils Live Stock; is  coherent set of projects by ULUMA  and “Cotton project” is a catalyst for “Essential oils and Livestock projects” CEOLS has multiplier effect and will lead to food security, infrastructure development, industrial development and exponential economic development and growth for rural economies.
